Volleyball Game Preview: Kenosha Tremper Trojans vs. Indian Trail Hawks

The Kenosha Tremper Trojans will head out to challenge the Indian Trail Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Kenosha Tremper is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Racine Case. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The win didn't come easy: Racine Case scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23, 25-27, 25-19.

Dylan Simonis was the offensive standout of the contest as he had 18 digs and one assist. That's the most digs he has posted since back in September.

Meanwhile, Indian Trail made easy work of Kenosha Bradford on Friday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Indian Trail's got stronger as the match went on, holding Kenosha Bradford to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-15.

Kenosha Tremper better keep an eye on Brayden Phillips. He was instrumental in Indian Trail's win, getting nine digs and two assists.

Indian Trail was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive matches.

Kenosha Tremper's record now sits at 25-13. As for Indian Trail, their record is now 25-11.

Kenosha Tremper suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Indian Trail in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
