They never let the Hertford County Bears get on the board and left with an 18-0 win on Thursday. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Effie Drew was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five). She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lila Meredith, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. Julia Doppler was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs.
