Softball Recap: Lewis & Clark Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Lewis & Clark duked it out with Mt. Spokane on Thursday. The Lewis & Clark Tigers came up short against the Mt. Spokane Wildcats, falling 19-6. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it eight in a row dating back to last season.

Rhiannon Kilgore made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Beibhinn Kilgore was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Lewis & Clark's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mt. Spokane, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewis & Clark will take on Ferris at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Spokane, they will challenge University at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
