Basketball Recap: Highland Extends Home Winning Streak to 12

Highland won against Wauzeka-Steuben last Monday with 87 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Highland Cardinals beat the Wauzeka-Steuben Hornets by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 87-57. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Highland pushed their record up to 21-3 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.9 points over those games. As for Wauzeka-Steuben, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.

As of now, neither Highland nor Wauzeka-Steuben have any future games scheduled.
