Volleyball Recap: Decatur Extends Winning Streak to Three

Decatur had won two straight games and Virginia Pylant did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Red Raiders came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Chelsea Hornets for which the team can thank Pylant, who had 14 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Decatur's victory bumped their record up to 17-20. As for Chelsea, they moved to 16-15 with that loss, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

Decatur wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Brewer on the 4th. As for Chelsea, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Hartselle on the 4th.
