Recap: Dixie County Bears vs. Chiefland Indians
The Dixie County Bears were the 52-39 winner over the Chiefland Indians when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Dixie County fell 37-25 to Chiefland on Friday. Dixie County just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Chiefland got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nyasia Bivins out in front who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Davies, who scored 10 points along with 3 steals.
Dixie County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Chiefland, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Dixie County will head out on the road to face off against Bronson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chiefland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North Marion comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
