Volleyball Recap: Kellenberg Memorial Extends Winning Streak to Three

Kellenberg Memorial extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Julianna Lucie. The Firebirds blew past the St. Dominic Bayhawks 3-0 on Tuesday thanks in part to Lucie, who had 20 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Kellenberg Memorial was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-9, 25-5.

Kellenberg Memorial's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Madelyn Forquinon led the charge by getting 11 digs. Those 11 digs gave Forquinon a new career-high.

Kellenberg Memorial's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for St. Dominic, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
