Everything went their way against Prospect Ridge Academy as St. Mary's Academy made off with a 43-19 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory St. Mary's Academy has posted yet this season.

Emily Rodriguez was her usual excellent self, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds and six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Isabel Hernandez was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds and six steals.

Despite the defeat, Prospect Ridge Academy saw an underclassman step up: Amelia Waggoner scored nine points along with 17 rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Waggoner pulled down eight or more rebounds.

St. Mary's Academy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mary's Academy will face off against Eagle Ridge Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Eagle Ridge Academy is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Kent Denver at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kent Denver presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Prospect Ridge Academy in Colorado (Kent Denver is ranked 52nd, while Prospect Ridge Academy is ranked 275th).
