Southwest EC won the last time they faced Holtville and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Southwest EC Eagles were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Holtville Vikings.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-19, 25-11.

Bayne Bernal paced Southwest EC's offense, picking up 11 kills. Bernal got some help from Ismael Razo and his 22 assists. Finally, Bernal was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.

Southwest EC pushed their record up to 7-11 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Holtville, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Southwest EC will be taking part in a tournament against Calexico at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Holtville, they will head out to challenge Calexico Mission at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Holtville is facing Calexico Mission at the right time seeing as Calexico Mission is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
