Volleyball Recap: East River Comes Up Short

East River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Lyman Greyhounds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-19.

East River's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Lyman, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East River will head out to challenge Winter Park at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lyman, they will venture away from home to square off against Winter Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Greyhounds surely won't give up without a fight.
