Recap: Fall River Bulldogs vs. Los Molinos Bulldogs
If The Fall River Bulldogs were feeling good off their 42-22 takedown of the Maxwell Panthers last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Fall River fell to Los Molinos 32-28. It was the first time this season that Fall River let down their fans at home.
Abe Estes and Carter Kroschel certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Estes rushed for 24 yards and two touchdowns, while Kroschel posted 26 receiving yards.
Among those leading the charge was Ty Walker, who rushed for 78 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 140 yards and a touchdown while completing 83.3% of his passes.
Fall River's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Los Molinos, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fall River will take on Modoc at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Los Molinos, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Etna at 7:30 p.m. Etna is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
