Volleyball Game Preview: East Noble Knights vs. Fort Wayne Wayne Generals

The East Noble Knights will square off against the Fort Wayne Wayne Generals at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, East Noble didn't have quite enough to beat Woodlan and fell 3-2.

East Noble wouldn't go down easily and took Woodlan into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-18, 25-20, 21-25, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Wayne earned a 3-1 victory over Northridge on Tuesday.

Fort Wayne Wayne had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-20, 25-17, 25-19.

Fort Wayne Wayne's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for East Noble, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

East Noble took their victory against Fort Wayne Wayne in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Generals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
