Basketball Recap: Central Magnet Takes a Loss

Central Magnet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Franklin County Rebels, falling 64-39. Central Magnet was down 50-24 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Brandon Walker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Franklin County, dropping a double-double with 22 points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was Brayden Arnold, who posted 12 points and three steals.

Central Magnet's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Franklin County, their victory bumped their record up to 4-18.

Central Magnet has already played their next match, a 53-52 win against Moore County on the 3rd. As for Franklin County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-35 defeat against Lawrence County on the 4th.
