Carroll is 8-2 against Homestead since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Chargers will host the Spartans at 7:30 p.m. Carroll is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

If NorthWood wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Carroll, they should've done a better job of containing Cala Haffner. The Chargers put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday with plenty of help from Haffner, who had 12 digs and one assist. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Carroll was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-10, 25-15.
Meanwhile, Homestead made easy work of Fort Wayne Northrop on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Homestead took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-12, 25-15.
Carroll better focus on containing Avary Heady and BreeAnne Polston as the pair were huge in Homestead's win. Heady had three digs and two aces, while Polston had four digs and two aces. That's the most aces Polston has posted over her last four matchups. Lydia Bashford also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.
Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 24-0. As for Homestead, their win bumped their record up to 17-7.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's match: Carroll has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.9 aces per game. However, it's not like Homestead struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.7 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
