For the second straight game, Morris will face off against Kaneland. The Redskins will head out to challenge the Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Morris is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

If Morris beats Kaneland with six runs on Thursday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Redskins beat the Knights on Wednesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-1.

Morris' win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Kaneland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-7.
