Football Recap: Port Byron Takes a Loss

Port Byron and Weedsport pushed the score to 55-12 the last time they played Weedsport, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Panthers lost 22-0 to the Wolverines. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Port Byron is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5. As for Weedsport, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Port Byron does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Weedsport, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Pulaski at 6:00 p.m. The matchup will give the Wolverines their first taste of in-conference action this season.
