It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hartsville had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 45-8 victory over the Crestwood Knights. The Red Foxes haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Hartsville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ford Wallace out in front who rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 145 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten passes. The Red Foxes also got a significant boost from Trace Hillian, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 112 yards.

Hartsville's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Crestwood, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Coming up, Hartsville will square off against Gray Collegiate Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Red Foxes will need to watch out since the War Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last eight contests. Crestwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
