Charlotte Christian took a seven-goal defeat the last time they faced off against North Raleigh Christian Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Charlotte Christian narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past North Raleigh Christian Academy 2-1. The victory was some much needed relief for Charlotte Christian as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Charlotte Latin entered their tilt with Durham Academy on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Cavaliers by a score of 5-3. Charlotte Latin's winning goal came courtesy of Graceyn Levesque.

Charlotte Latin's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four contests. As for Charlotte Christian, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-4.

Charlotte Christian suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Charlotte Latin in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can Charlotte Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
