Basketball Recap: Vega Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Vega won the last time they faced Sunray and things went their way on Friday too. The Vega Longhorns strolled past the Sunray Bobcats with points to spare, taking the game 51-33. Given the Longhorns' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 217th, while the Bobcats are ranked 1052nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
