Notre Dame (SO) came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Bishop Amat, but Ryan Salcedo wouldn't allow it. The Lancers walked away with a 36-29 victory over the Knights on Friday thanks in part to Salcedo, who rushed for 351 yards and five scores while picking up 10.0 yards per carry. Bishop Amat is undefeated when Salcedo posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.

Notre Dame (SO)'s loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Wyatt Brown, who threw for 173 yards and a pair of TDs, and Luc Weaver, who picked up 106 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Emmanuel Pullins, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Bishop Amat now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Notre Dame (SO), they suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 4-3.
