Softball Recap: Clearfield Bison vs. Central Dragons
Clearfield took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Central Dragons as the Clearfield Bison made off with an 11-1 win. The Bison not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 8, 2024.

Clearfield got a great performance from Megan Wisor as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Wisor has posted since back in April of 2024.
On the hitting side, Eve Siegel was a standout: she scored two runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Aevril Hayward, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Clearfield always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .536. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Central only posted an OBP of .250.
Coming up, Clearfield will take on Bellefonte at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Penns Valley Area at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
