Basketball Recap: Oneonta Comes Up Short

Oneonta was the 45-32 winner over Cobleskill-Richmondville when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Oneonta Yellowjackets had to suffer through a 54-25 loss at the hands of the Cobleskill-Richmondville Bulldogs. The matchup marked the Yellowjackets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Oneonta's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Cobleskill-Richmondville, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

When Oneonta and Cobleskill-Richmondville next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Oneonta will challenge Waverly and their seven-game winning streak at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. Similarly, Cobleskill-Richmondville will try to stop Duanesburg's three-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
