Basketball Recap: Parkway West Falls to Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech in First Game of Season

Parkway West had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech Panthers 60-25 on Tuesday. If the HOYAS were looking for revenge after losing 61-16 to the Panthers when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech to victory, but perhaps none more so than Francisco Quiles, who posted 25 points and six steals. Those six steals gave Quiles a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Joshua Margruder, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 14 boards.
