If Lanier County was feeling good fresh off their 8-3 takedown of Valdosta last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Vidalia Indians by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Lanier County's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Sayla Schade, who's now up to 14 this season.

Lanier County's loss dropped their record down to 6-7. As for Vidalia, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-10.

Lanier County has already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Worth County on the 17th. As for Vidalia, they will take on Southeast Bulloch at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Vidalia will need to watch out since Southeast Bulloch have now posted at least four goals in their last four contests.
