Soccer Recap: Eastern Randolph Takes a Loss

Eastern Randolph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to the Northwood Chargers. While losing is never fun, Eastern Randolph can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 523rd, while Northwood are ranked 212th).

Eastern Randolph's loss dropped their record down to 0-14-1. As for Northwood, they now have a winning record of 8-7-1.

Eastern Randolph didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-0 defeat against Southwestern Randolph on the 27th. As for Northwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Southeast Alamance on the 24th.
