Softball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 9-6 to the Franklin Admirals. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Admirals earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Franklin, they moved to 3-17-1 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coming up, Centennial will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Summit at 5:00 p.m. The Spartans will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Franklin, they are taking a road trip to square off against Fairview at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Admirals surely won't give up without a fight.
