Football Recap: Parker Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Parker had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 61-19 loss at the hands of the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parker will venture away from home to challenge Beresford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Elk Point-Jefferson, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
