Soccer Game Preview: Oscar Smith vs. Norview

The Oscar Smith Tigers will challenge the Norview Pilots at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Oscar Smith will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

If Norview heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Oscar Smith took over last week. The Tigers walked away with a 3-1 victory over Granby on Tuesday.

Trenten Jefferson and Kendall Ferrell scored all three of Oscar Smith's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, Norview fell victim to Churchland and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They lost 7-0 to the Truckers. Norview have struggled against Churchland recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Oscar Smith's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those four games. As for Norview, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
