Volleyball Recap: Manhattan Gets the Win

Manhattan posted their closest victory since September 27th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Emporia Spartans 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Manhattan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-17, 25-14.

Manhattan's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Emporia, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 14-9.

Manhattan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Blue Valley West on the 6th. As for Emporia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Hayden on the 4th.
