Manhattan posted their closest victory since September 27th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Emporia Spartans 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Thursday.

Manhattan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for Emporia, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.

Looking ahead, Manhattan is taking a road trip to face off against Blue Valley West at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Emporia, they will take on Hayden at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
