Kewanee won the last time they faced Monmouth-Roseville and things went their way on Monday too. The Boilermakers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Titans, sneaking past 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Boilermakers have posted since October 4th.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Kewanee got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 24-26, 25-16.

Damaris Diaz paced Kewanee's offense, picking up eight kills. Diaz got some help from Kendyl Deblieck and her seven assists. Finally, Diaz was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high seven blocks.

Kewanee's victory bumped their record up to 14-15-1. As for Monmouth-Roseville, they dropped their record down to 10-24 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Kewanee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Mendota on the 21st. As for Monmouth-Roseville, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Rockridge on the 21st.
