Baseball Recap: Eastern Lebanon County Comes Up Short

Eastern Lebanon County easily dispatched Garden Spot last Wednesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Raiders fell just short of the Manheim Central Barons by a score of 9-7 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Raiders have suffered since May 28, 2024.

Austin Smith made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Tanner Hibshman, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

The loss snapped Eastern Lebanon County's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-5 record. As for Manheim Central, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.
