Neosho waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Waynesville Tigers a 15-0 shutout. While the Wildcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Neosho pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Waynesville, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Neosho beat the Tigers by a score of 16-0 later that day.
