Western Hills has gone a perfect 4-0 against Withrow recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Mustangs will face off against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Western Hills is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.

Western Hills is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Clark Montessori just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.

John Farris made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole four bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Deuce Jefferies, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Withrow fell victim to Bowsher and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 17-0 to the BlueRacers. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it seven in a row dating back to last season.

Withrow's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Western Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Western Hills took their win against Withrow in their previous meeting on Wednesday by a conclusive 12-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
