LaFayette came tearing into Thursday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Coahulla Creek Colts. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Ramblers have posted since September 12th.

LaFayette had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-10, 15-6.

Makenna Clarke paced LaFayette's offense, picking up ten kills. Clarke got some help from Jaslyn Capello and her 20 assists. Kaylee Scoggins controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

LaFayette's victory bumped their record up to 33-9. As for Coahulla Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-20.

LaFayette does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coahulla Creek, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Murray at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
