Reagan is 8-2 against Davie since June of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Reagan will head out to square off against Davie at 7:00 p.m. Reagan's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Davie's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Last Friday, Reagan didn't have quite enough to beat West Forsyth and fell 2-1. The matchup marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Davie came up short against Watauga on Saturday and fell 8-4.

Davie saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayden Potts, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

This is the second loss in a row for Reagan and nudges their season record down to 9-4. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Davie, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Everything went Reagan's way against Davie in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Reagan made off with a 10-1 victory. Does Reagan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Davie turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
