Soccer Game Preview: Rubidoux vs. Ramona

The Rubidoux Falcons will head out on the road to square off against the Ramona Rams at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Rubidoux's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Rubidoux managed to keep up with Norte Vista until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Rubidoux lost 4-0 to Norte Vista. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 971st, while the Braves are ranked 217th).

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in December of 2024, Ramona was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. They and Jurupa Valley finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Rubidoux's loss dropped their record down to 2-13-1. With that draw, Ramona's record moves to 8-6-3.

Rubidoux came up short against Ramona when the teams last played back in January, falling 2-0. Can Rubidoux avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
