Softball Recap: Mountain View Prep Takes a Loss

The Mountain View Prep Stars didn't have quite enough to beat the Union County Yellowjackets on Friday and fell 5-3. The Stars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Zoe Sullivan was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

Mountain View Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Union County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain View Prep will venture away from home to challenge Chapman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union County, they will head out to take on Broome at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
