Volleyball Recap: Eastside College Prep Takes a Loss

Eastside College Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the MacDonald Condor. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Condor this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in April.

While Eastside College Prep ultimately came up short, they really made MacDonald work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 21-25, 32-30, 25-21.

MacDonald was led to victory by Logan Tran and Tobin Ley. Tran had 21 digs, while Ley had 32 digs, 22 kills, and two aces. What's more, Ley posted three assists, the most he's had since back in April. Zachary Marti also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Eastside College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 8-18. As for MacDonald, they moved to 4-17 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

As of now, neither Eastside College Prep nor the Condor have any future games scheduled.
