Soccer Recap: Lakewood Starts off Right with Win over Wheat Ridge

Lakewood took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They blew past the Wheat Ridge Farmers 3-0. The score was close at the half, but the Tigers pulled away in the second half with two goals.

They hit Wheat Ridge with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Grace White, Sylvie Melancon, and Aubrey Magid.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Lakewood duke it out with D'Evelyn at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wheat Ridge, they will head out on the road to challenge George Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
