Basketball Recap: Lebanon Comes Up Short

Lebanon was the 59-51 winner over Hollis-Brookline when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lebanon Raiders were outmatched by the Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers and fell 65-30. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 75th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 20th).

Lebanon dropped their record down to 3-13 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Hollis-Brookline, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lebanon will host Stark at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Lebanon is facing Stark at the right time seeing as Stark is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Hollis-Brookline, they will welcome Merrimack Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
