Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Falls Short of Mcmahon in the Playoffs

St. Joseph and McMahon squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but St. Joseph had to settle for second. They took a 64-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McMahon Senators. The defeat continues a trend for the Cadets in their meetings with the Senators: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite the loss, St. Joseph still got an impressive performance from TJ Wright, who went 11-for-19 to rack up 28 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lameik Black, who shot 56% from the field en route to 12 points.

St. Joseph's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for McMahon, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: McMahon beat St. Joseph by a score of 64-60 later that day.
