Buckfield is a perfect 5-0 against Temple Academy since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bucks will be playing at home against the Bereans at 4:00 p.m. Buckfield will be strutting in after a victory while Temple Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Buckfield's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Telstar with a sharp 15-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bucks.

Meanwhile, Temple Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Wiscasset on Wednesday and fell 7-5.

Temple Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Meredith Thompson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another was Isabelle Tompkins, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Buckfield's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.2 runs on average over those games. As for Temple Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything went Buckfield's way against Temple Academy when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Buckfield made off with a 17-0 victory. Do the Bucks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bereans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
