Basketball Recap: Natalie Wirth and Brooke Bolesta Secure Win for Fallston

After losing to Perry Hall the last time they met, Fallston decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Fallston Cougars walked away with a 46-39 win over the Perry Hall Gators on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Fallston was led to victory by Brooke Bolesta and Natalie Wirth. Bolesta posted eight points in addition to 14 boards and seven blocks, while Wirth dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Those 17 points gave Wirth a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Gent, who had eight points and five rebounds.

Fallston's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Fallston wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 45-28 win against Rising Sun on the 11th. As for Perry Hall, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-34 victory against Carver A&T on the 9th.
