Conner Rippo posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits. He is becoming a predictor of Northeastern's success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is 3-1 (and 4-5 when he doesn't).

Coming up, Rippo and Northeastern will be playing at home against William Penn at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats are a perfect 5-0 against the Bearcats going back to May of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
