Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Wood Memorial walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Cannelton Bulldogs with a sharp 14-0 win on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Trojans needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Wood Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Cannelton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Looking ahead, Wood Memorial will take on Northeast Dubois at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Jeeps will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. Cannelton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
