Football Recap: Zahra Fazal and Jordana Weil Secure Win for Park Vista

Park Vista's game on Wednesday was all tied up 6-6 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 14-6 victory over the Cardinal Newman Crusaders. The Cobras have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Crusaders, too.

A big part of Park Vista's win came down to the chemistry between Jordana Weil and her top target Zahra Fazal. Weil threw for 242 yards and two touchdowns while Fazal picked up 32 receiving yards and two touchdowns. What's more, Weil racked up 17 rushing yards, the most she's had since back in March of 2024.

Park Vista now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Cardinal Newman, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Park Vista has already played their next contest, a 26-0 victory against Dwyer on the 10th. As for Cardinal Newman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 31-0 win against Olympic Heights on the 10th.
