Baseball Recap: Aurora East Comes Up Short

Aurora East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the West Aurora Blackhawks, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blackhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 last Tuesday.

Aurora East's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for West Aurora, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Aurora East is set to take on their familiar foe Bartlett at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, West Aurora will challenge rival West Chicago at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
