Volleyball Recap: Fort Lupton Takes a Loss

Fort Lupton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Prairie View Thunderhawks. The Bluedevils were not able to make up for their loss to the Thunderhawks from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Kyleigh Taylor paced Fort Lupton's offense, picking up eight kills. Taylor got some help from Andrea Anguiano and her eight assists. Gabriella Aviles controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Fort Lupton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Prairie View, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Fort Lupton has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Riverdale Ridge on the 4th. As for Prairie View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against The Academy on the 4th.
