Baseball Recap: Redmond Mustangs vs. Mercer Island Islanders
Redmond lost against Mercer Island back in May of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Redmond took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mercer Island. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jay Heath put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Brandon Dayberry was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
